I feel strange taking the first blog of the day. Where is everyone?

Last night, Yoga was great. I have no idea how Becky and I survived the extended version of “Downward Facing Dog.” Next week, we start Ashtanga. God bless you.

I looked on the Reader and there are four apartment prospects, all in the Wicker Park Area. I love Lakeview (where I live now), but one bedroom/studio apartments are too expensive for me. I’m already viewing one of the four on Saturday. I am getting good vibes about this.

I read the article about 25 years of punk, finally! Here’s what I think. There are 152 pages in Spin. There are 20 pages of this article. Are 20 pages enough to encompass 25 years of music? I think not. At least have a page per year. Also, the article itself is pretty bad. They tried to fit way too much info into a small space. The pluses of the article? Lot’s of photos, which I can appreciate, for obvious reasons (if you do not know why this is obvious, then you need to read some of the archives), and a top 50 albums of punk list, which I thought was rather good. I liked it because it didn’t limit itself to the basics, like the Ramones and the Sex Pistols, but expanded on it. Also, Joey Ramone is officially “The Gooniest Man Ever.”
