Thanksgiving already?!?!?
Wow. Time flies when you get older.
Have a great T-day holiday, and I hope to post a little something when I get back into town next week.

Okay- so it's been over a month. I've been busy- I can't be here writing every day like I used to. Sorry.
I saw MGMT, Spoon, and Beck at the Hollywood Bowl back in September. It was a great show minus the d-bags next to us who were dancing on their seats. I'm all about getting excited and dancing at a show, but when we all have to share one long wooden bench, I would keep my dancing feet on the ground. AND they talked through every slow Beck song. They were horrible. Anyway, I attempted to take pictures, but I was just too far away to get any good shots. Here are two blurry pics of Spoon. You can kind of make out Britt Daniel's head in the first shot.

Next fun stop in September- Disneyland! I really wasn't sure how much I would enjoy Disneyland as an adult. I have very fond memories of going to Disney World with my family when I was 7. Crazy thing is, I could remember everything once stepping back into the park. Pirates of the Caribbean? Almost the same except the modern additions of Jack Sparrow and other characters from the franchise. The Snow White ride? Exactly the same! I still had a great time though, and would totally go back in a couple years.
Last but not least, Matt and my friend Eric have converted my second bathroom into a home brewery. They've made three different beers at this point and plan on making more. Apparently, the next time they brew, it will be on my porch instead of in my kitchen (due to a portable burner) so I'm fine with it as long as they clean up when they are done!

Holy crap, I'm 30.
My 30 birthday was this past Sunday. Matt managed to throw me a surprise birthday and I didn't even figure it out. I must be senile already!
Actually, I had a great weekend. My friend, Reba, traveled all the way from Tuscon to watch me turn 30. We went to the beach, a drive-in movie and ate dinner in the same restaurant as Ewan McGregor (I didn't get to see him unfortunately, he came in the restaurant and went to a private room before I got there.)
Here are some pictures from the fun times this weekend!

That's Matt and I waiting for the perfect wave.

That's us riding a wave in!

My surprise birthday party at Typhoon at the Santa Monica Airport!

Reba and I. I was trying to make an unhappy face because I just turned 30. It didn't work though.

Here are two interesting and totally unrelated articles I found on fark.com. Take your pick as to which one you find more ridiculous:

Hello, Kramer.

I didn't get a good look at him when he first walked into the gallery. It was only when we started talking that I realized it was Michael Richards! He seemed like a nice, calm guy. Too bad he got all of this bad press. . .
Anyway, my list is getting bigger!
1. Host from Street Smarts
2. Helen Hunt
3. Ron Eldard
4. Britney Spears
5. Paulie Shore
6. Pete Yorn
7. Owen Wilson
8. Janet Davies (only known in Chicago)
9. Joan Cusack
10. Seth Green
11. Kevin Bacon
12. Naveen Andrews
13. Frankie Muniz
14. Jodie Foster
15. Michael Richards

I just felt my first real earthquake! It was pretty scary, actually. My office usually shakes a bit when a big truck drives by, so I was assuming that was the case. Then the shaking got much more intense. I ran to the doorway of my office, and then Kelly (my co-worker) and I decided it would be safer outside.
We talked to a couple of neighbors and then came back inside. All is well inside the gallery; nothing broken, not even a photograph looking crooked on the walls. According to this website, the earthquake happened right outside of Chino Hills, CA. It was a 5.8!
So yeah, I'm totally okay! What a crazy morning!
