greg:

Youth are too wild or too tame, too hedonistic or too inhibited, too principled or without principles, too cautious or too careless. Youth are all the things the middle aged critic is angry at herself for having been and with whose consequences she now lives.

I started class on Tuesday. It seems like it's gonna be a lot of fun, but pretty difficulty working around my fulltime schedule. I'm taking human development, which looks like it's really going to be based in Erickson's theories of identity with examinations of gender, race, class and sexuality. The big four all you English and History majors know about. I'm also taking education and society, which looks like it's gonna kick some major ass. Lots of group work, lots of discussion, and lots of fresh perspectives from older people who are changing jobs. there's a 55 year old former bank Vice President in my class. Should be real interesting.

I'll get that eZine section up soon, just gotta go home and pound out the code.

Nobody's allowed to talk about the heymercedes show (ever since I've been going to their website it's always looked better like that) or else I might start to cry and then you'd all have to beat the hell out of me.

The cubs officially pissed me off yesterday. How do you strand men at second or third with no outs 3 times? And Sammy, you've been playing the game for awhile don't you know how to run the bases yet? And pitchers could we stop letting the first two batters score? I'm going to see them in 9 days, so that'll be cool. We need a blog trip to a ball game. Jen, work that out.

I need to bring some new cd's to work. The four I have, while excellent, are failing to fill the 8 hour day. And you can't get AM radio on the 33rd floor.
