Tired of waking up with a new haircut every morning, so it’s no scissors in bed.

I bet a new haircut every morning would be a bit tiring, but a new haircut every few months isn’t so bad. Yes, folks, ever-changing-me chopped off the hair once again.

This is a message to Mother Nature: Um, hello? Do you have any idea what month it is? Isn’t it time you started catching up with the times? It’s FREAKIN’ SPRING (damn close to summer)!!! Get with it!!!!

This reminds me of a conversation that I had with Barb on Friday after work. It started with me discussing the shaggy state of my hair and then we started taking about Scooby Doo, one of the best cartoons from childhood. Anyway, here are a few topics that were discussed:

1. Thelma always loses her glasses at least one time per episode.
2. Shaggy always has a spare.
3. Daphne and Fred always go off somewhere together (the mystery van?), Shaggy and Scooby have each other, and poor Thelma is always alone, losing her damn glasses.
4. (This thought brings me to the weather) Thelma always wears that orange wooly turtleneck, no matter what the temperature is.

So, we began to think, where does Scooby Doo take place? It must be pretty cool there if Thelma can get away with a turtleneck year round. Cool, shitey weather = Chicago. So there you have it; Scooby Doo is filmed on location in Chicago. They all have midwestern accents . . .

Yes, this is what girls think about: why Thelma wears a turtleneck year round. It has nothing to do with the fact that she’s a cartoon and happens to be drawn that way. Nope. She wears it year round because it is cold where she is.
