When I was at home during those three days, I decided to type out what happened to me. Most of it was really boring, but what I did write of the excitement of my days turned out to be really long. So I’ll blog them, but in three parts. Here is Part One of “The Incident.”
“The Incident” (aka- eating bad omelette and getting sick more times than can count on one hand)
Day 1(Wednesday): After waking up with an extremely large headache, I manage to drink about a half of glass of water. Even that makes me feel ill. So, I lay in bed until 3, when my step-dad comes over and brings me Gatorade (one of my roommates is a nurse, and she recommended this). Anyway, it’s the only thing I can drink without making me feel sick. Ted and I watch part of Sliding Doors together. Ted talks a lot about our dog (see footnote.) Ted leaves and I finish movie, fall asleep and wake up to find the Simpsons are on! Talk to Pat. Watch more TV. Pat comes over at 9. Pat forces me to eat a cracker around midnight. It is my first bit of food since the “incident.”
Footnote 1: Ever since my sister and I have moved out, my parents, especially Ted, talks about our dog, Dylan, like he is my little brother. “Oh, you’ll never guess what Dylan did today!” or “Today, Dylan barked!” It’s really annoying. Ted likes to give me full updates about their walks together, like what kind of animal Dylan chased, or how Dylan acted when he came across another dog. This kind of talk can go on for hours unless it is interrupted by a force stronger than a really strong force (this force is yet undetermined.)
