Is anyone else excited about Thanksgiving next week? I'm happy to have a whopping five day holiday in it's honor. I will also be in Las Vegas, eating lots of food for free! That sounds like a joyous vacation to me!

I'm guessing most people who have met him will remember him, but my friend, Ken (who used to go to UIC with me and then moved back home to Tokyo) will be in town for just one day this Wednesday. He is on a layover between Chile amd Tokyo on a business trip. I am really excited to see him. It has been at least four years since we have hung out. And to top it off, we have been working on this photo project the whole time through the mail, so now we can talk about it in person. I can already feel the makings of a good week.

Last week, Matt and I went to this film screening for this HORRIBLE movie called "Devour." I think that it was written by three different people who all had a different story in mind but never completed one idea. It was a mixture of a "scary" internet game, a mass of serial killings and the devil trying to reclaim his lost spawn. It sucked. I had to fill out a comment sheet and Matt made me put down my pencil so that we could hit Coldstone Creamery before it closed. (Beck- I thought of you!)

I really thought that I was going to make it home for New Years Eve but I'm not so sure if that is going to happen now. I'm still working on finding a cheap way to get home.

Matt and I plan to go to the hub of commercialism today (target) and buy a video camera. We are going to make a short little movie and then return it because hell, Target takes anything back.

Hmmm. That's all.

ps. Christie, just so you know, I feel your pain. Matt and I plan a move to either Canada or England if Bush wants to reinstate the draft.
