i feel like death
so i was up late last night working on a paper for my human development class. i tried to nab the red line into the loop so i could switch to the blue line back out, but the trains weren't moving. there were trains there, but they were dark and definately weren't gonna take me anwhere. the dude on the pa system said the was an emergency situation at the belmont stop so they had to turn off power to all four tracks. rumor was that some dude had tried to cross the tracks to the other platform and got hit by a train. that combined with the electrocution he most surely recieved must have been very gruesome. i don't know if this is true or not, but it at least makes the hour i had to wait for a train bearable. it took me 2 and a half hours to get home. since i left at 11:30, that means i was in bed by 2 a.m. i'm so tired. that trip usually takes about 52 minutes. sorry to bore you all with a train story. i'm gonna go look up cubs tickets now. are you guys still in? anyone else wanna watch the 2nd place cubs? hopefully they'll get it back together. i promise there will be beer.
i was just looking for a link to old style, and found out that it is now owned by pabst. who would've thought the same brewer produces such fine liquors as pabst, schlitz, old style, old milwaukee and stroh's. ah to work there.
