Jen

Sorry about the lull between posts. I have managed to have very little free time for myself, and somehow, when I do have a free moment, I try not to spend it on the computer.

Life has now gone back to a semi-usual pattern and I can get back to where I was. So where was I?

Matt and I went to the Chicago Botanic Gardens, a place I put on my "Things I wanted to do last summer but didn't" List. For early May, there was a surprising amount of flowers in bloom, and it was just what I needed after a long couple of weeks. Here are some pics from our day!

This is a picture of the English Walled Garden. It reminds me of the time I spent living in England. . . not really, but it's still pretty.

Both of these are from the Japanese Island Gardens. I love the Zen Rock garden. You can't walk through it, but there is a little seating area next to it that you can sit and quietly enjoy it all.

Sorry, I had to take a picture of that sign. HAD TO!

We just got a new soundtrack from the Gap, so expect to hear my new top five soon!
