Becky

I can't believe that its so close!!!  Are you guys really leaving??!!!  Jen, you are our premire blogger.  I  promise to step in up in the blog department to help keep in touch when you are in california.

Fizz tonight will be fun and we will definitely be there!

I also wanted to thank everyone who came to the wedding - we had such a fun time!  I can't believe that its over after all of that planning.  Not that I am too depressed - it got pretty stressful at the end and I have many other weddings to enjoy this summer....

Okay, but back to the important stuff.  Jen, tell us more about the route you guys are taking to LA - any fun and exciting stops planned for on the way?

The Final Countdown: 3 days left in Chicago.

God, everytime I write that, I get that stupid song stuck in my head!

I'm at work late working an event.  It's a nice way to get extra cash and hang out and say goodbye to co-workers.  I know I say this every time, but I can't believe how quick time is moving!

I posted two of my items for sale on Craigslist and I've been getting a lot of hits for my futon and kitchen hutch.  Fuck yard sales!  I should have done this ages ago!!

Ok, here's a picture for the day.  It's of my poor little freaked out kitty Josie.  She's not taking the whole move thing so well.

The Final Countdown: 5 days left in Chicago!

I can't believe how quick this is all moving.  Where the hell did my weekend go?  Ah, yes.  I remember.

Because I am very in to my camera phone and posting images, I will do so again today.

Saturday, I had a yard sale that pretty much flopped.  I made $40.  end of story.

Sunday:

This is my giant palm tree that I had in my living room being transported, via the back of my jeep, to Christie and Mike's place.  In the process of traveling down western, a branch broke off and the thing tipped over.  We, meaning Nathan and I, also received many honks and waves due to this tree for some unknown reason.

During the week, Matt and I went to Millenium Park, just to check it out before we leave.  I actually reallky like the fountains although I've heard many people mention how much they think the fountains sucks or is useless/boring/stupid.  You fill in you favorite word.  I think the fountains are prtty damn cool.

I also like the big jelly bean thing- even though it cost the city way too much and well, really has no purpose.    Matt and I had fun with the reflections though.  This isn't one of my favorite pictures, but I haven't downloaded the rest yet.

Did you know that the design of the great jelly bean is actually supposed to be a cloud?

Ahh, this will be me in just over two weeks. (Actually, this was me back in the beginning of June in Malibu.  I'm just hoping to recreate this moment.)

Matt and I started packing up my room yesterday, which is a bigger job than it sounds.  Actually, my closet itself is a bigger job than it sounds.   I'm glad he was there, helping me weed throught the crap.  I really needed someone to constantly tell me things such as "Jen, look at that Seaweed shirt.  When was the last time you wore that? It has holes everywhere." or "George Michael?!?  On a t-shirt? Please tell me you were young when you got this."  (I was in 4th grade, just an FYI.)  So, I finally got rid of the gems in my collection of t-shirts and narrowed down a good 16 bags of clothes to a more managable eight.

I went to the DMV on Friday to renew my drivers license.  (it expires in August and I didn't want to deal with it right after moving.)  It costs $10 for a renewal and upon standing in line, I realized that I only had $9.45 in my purse.  The Secretary of State only takes cash, check (I had none) or Discover (I know!  What's wrong with Visa!)  I don't have a Discover card, so I went back to my car to search for change.  I only had 50 cents, leaving me a nickle short.  I could have easily left and ran to the bank, but I didn't know where the closest bank is near the Elston DMV, and it was getting late in the day and I didn't want to waste anymore time.  So, I searched around the cars for a bit and found 2 cents, which obviously wasn't going to cut it.  Luckily enough, a woman pulled up next to me and I sheepishly asked her for 5 cents to pay for my license.  She had it!  Yay! Thanks to the nice lady in the parking lot!

I also had to take the written driving test and I scored 100%.  The woman who graded my test told me I was her first perfect score of the day.  When I looked at my watch, it was 3:45.  The DMV closes at 5.

ok, back to work.

I'm shaking at your touch
I like you way too much
my baby I'm afraid i'm falling for you
I'd do about anything to get the hell out alive
or maybe I would rather settle down with you

It has finally happened! Becky and Greg are married! It was a really great time. I almost can't believe it finally happened and the wedding is over. Now what will we talk about on this blog?

I thought that I'd share some camera phone pics today just because it's fun.

1) This is me getting my first pedicure. At first I was a little nervous about someone handling my feet, but I think I may be addicted now. I felt bad for my cute little pedicure lady that rubbed lotion on my hairy, unshaven legs even though I begged her not to. The best part had to be when she responded later after over hearing Christie and my conversation about the wedding: " You should probably do something about this (motioning to my hairy, unshaven legs) before the wedding."

2)This is the medieval torture device that dried my nails afterwards. Actually, it didn't do much but blow air on my toes. Still, doesn't it look like it's burning me?

3) This lovely picture made its appearance at the rehearsal dinner on Friday. This is our very own Greg at 17. This picture doesn't even look like he does now! It's crazy what botox can do to a person! (I actually still have this picture, but in a smaller wallet form.)

That is the photo tour for today.

Everyone please do all your anti-rain dances and push the storms that are supposed to be here on saturday either south or north. As long as you're at it, do your greg-wins-the-lottery dances as well. i like being so wealthy that i don't even have to look at things. they can just be described to me.

Thank you so much for coming out to the Crapple party. Matt and I made enough money to cover all the alcohol we bought plus put some towards our moving truck. Sweet!

I don't know who the anonymous person is who commented that Greg has been getting married for 4 years now, but it was hilarious. Truth be told, it's only been about what, a year and a half or so? and the wedding is actually this Saturday!

Greg and Beck, any last minute comments for the blog?

-The professor, Futurama

I just recently purchased Volume 3 of Futurama and I am hooked. It's seriously one of the funniest cartoons to be on air. I am so sad knowing that there will be no more Dr.Zoidberg in my future.

Now that Mike has shown me the image posting way, I will post as many images as I can!

I took this picture on my camera phone in China Town in LA. Who would have thought that 8 immortals would be so cheap?

I'm really excited about having everyone over for the party. I have some real gems to crapple away such as a Ted Nugent record and a giant blow up fish! Good times ahead!
