I'm staying home from work today because I'm not feeling so well. I also had a fairly exhausting weekend, including a trip to the ER, but alas, as the doctors tell me, I'm perfectly healthy. I was nearly 100% positive (as well as the doctors - once they heard my symptoms) that my appendix burst on Friday night, so I was injected with all sorts of stuff as well as had blood work done and a CAT scan. After 7 (that's right!!!! 7!!) hours in the ER, apparently everything is in working order. I won't bore you with the exact details of my problem, but like I said, I'm fine. And all this exactly one week before my health insurance kicks in!

So, I am taking today off to relax. I'm feeling a bit spacey and tired, but otherwise I am okay.

It's really sad that NBC pulled the video of Seth Green on Jay Leno only after a couple days on You Tube. I was happy enough to have found it in the first place. Anyway, I'm hoping that wasn't a pathetic 15 minutes of fame.

We went to Vegas this weekend so Matt could pickup his bike! To make a long story short, a friend of my step-dad, Ted, gave the Bergman as a strange gift of sorts to Ted, and because Ted doesn't ride it, he sold it to Matt for a dollar. The great thing about the Bergman is now we can take it to the beach and not have to worry about parking! Try driving your car to Venice on the weekends - it's madness. Not with the Bergman! We can put that sucker anywhere! So, we are going to Venice this weekend for the sole purpose of parking it wherever we want and eating at our old favorite breakfast place, Benice.

I've started yet another blog - this time on live journal. I am apart of an exhibition called FLIST which will be at the Happy Dog Gallery in Wicker Park starting on October 5th. I have 4 photographs in the show. Part of the reason that I am included in this show is my long time connection to the blogging world. This show is based on the blogging communities that support artists. There is not much on my Live journal blog at the moment - you can have a look - however, Kit and I regularly post images on Chroma. Go! Enjoy!

I just spoke to my sister this morning, and she alerted me to the fact that Seth Green was on Jay Leno last night and actually recounted our meeting in the Santa Monica Promenade Garage! Check out this video! (to get straight to the story - fast forward to the 5:18 mark.)

I also ran into Seth Green. Well, not literally. But we had a very short conversation, only because I had no idea who he was until he started talking, I heard his name and I got a better look at him. I was in the elevator at the 4th street parking garage in Santa Monica, when I heard someone yelling for me to hold the doors. I couldn't find the button right away, but I managed to before I started heading towards the ground floor. The doors open, and there he is, Seth Green, lying on his back. He slipped on the tile by the elevator. I asked him if he was okay, and he said he was fine - that is when his girlfriend, lady friend, whoever, said, "Seth, are you okay" which is when I realized who he was. I rode the elevator down with them and kept thinking of ways to discreetly take a picture.
